Tis true. My hatred of Flash is well known, and now immortalized. smile

Very funny, good stuff. I first saw your web strip on the Envato Tuts+ Network, and began looking through. I think you’ve picked up another follow. smile

I love how the first panel in the 7th row with Dielman peeking around behind the machine, has changed Snacks to “Snaks.” Probably unintended, but I had a good laugh from it.

    Keep it up!

That was awesome. I loved seeing Dielman get beat up by a cop. That was priceless.

But it’s Flash! We can wow people with our really awesome animations! They can hear our cool marketing jingle! We can have their mouse cursor be a piece of pizza! THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES!

What’s that? How will they order? How will they browse a menu? WHO CARES!!!! Pizza cursor baby!

Glad the strip is getting a good reception, it’s a diversion from the usual 4 panels and a gag. I wasn’t sure it would work.

And Liz it’s good to see that you’re yourself again.

    Best one yet, Brad!

Now: add a Druapl CMS that updates the Flash site through XML and you’ve got yourself a real horror strip.

Oh, but it will be SO worth the wait once that page loads. Not.

Oh man, the cop sequence got some belly laughs out of me. I needed that, thanks.

I LOL’d, as in really, then I continued to giggle like a little girl. Awesome and oh-so true.

    Haha, very true.

I think flash is used in far too many places. So far all websites I’ve created have been 100% flash free.

I even stuck with my 100% flash free approach when creating my web game: http://worldofsolitaire.com

So good! Hahaha. I was on Mercedes Benz’s website yesterday, the whole thing is in flash, even the scroll bar on the page. It was an absolute UX wreck. With all the money they make you think they could make a better site?

That cartoon would be awesome if it were animated in flash!

At least with flash you don’t have to worry about browser compatibility issues. I feel just as frustrated when trying to write JavaScript or CSS that’s compatible for IE. :(

This has nothing to do with flash. If the site takes that long to load, “they’re doing it wrong”. Nicely drawn comic tho.

My son just sent me a link to this. Some of my web clients who DEMANDED Flash content are now coming back, begging me to remove it.  Maybe I should charge them a higher fee for removal…..
