June 2nd, 2010

I’m trying something a little different with the comic. It’s kinda hard to explain why it can’t be viewed here, click through to see it in its glory.

Ah cacti, I wondered why they didn’t want to swim down and plug the leak. Thanks for clearing that up

I hope this is the only experiment to force people to click through from the feed….. Would be a waste to have to remove another one from my list

    Hey Shmstr

Get over yourself. Nobody forced you to do anything. Brad got it spot on when showing only part of the image in the RSS feed.

Keep up the great work Mr Colbow. Its greatly appreciated.

Love the comic and its integration into your interface. A feature of your new ExpressionEngine structure? Hope to see more like it.

Your art is awesome. But this is still to sad to laugh. I can´t believe all the damage this shit does to our home…

Great job! I love how this doesn’t fit into the style of your other comics, and is actually a play on your site design… The interaction of scrolling down and seeing a change to get to the punchline was great too.

I want to laugh, except the whole real-life situation is so sad.
I also kinda wish this had happened to a more-sleazy oil company instead of BP.

and as usual, right on target.

“BP has inserted a siphon tube into the well to suck up all the oil from the spill. And they’ve had a lot of experience in this area, by the way. This is the same tube they’ve been using to suck the money out of our wallets for the past 50 years.” –Jay Leno

It seems like there is finally some good news with the spill.  The Houston Chronicle reports, U.S. ships were being outfitted earlier this month with four pairs of skimming booms airlifted from the Netherlands and should be deployed within days.”  I hope this is a sign of things to come. For all those feeling pretty gloomy about this situation, I recommend a good laugh… Here’s a funny joke, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd0svVWfFbo

This entire oil situation is a tragedy. I wish BP would have cared more about the spill.
