I get the whole elitist Mac thing, and I usually love your comics, but this kinda doesn’t work cos there isn’t much truth to it. So. Yeah. The PC jokes are….*shrug*
Old times, good times? I dont get it either, what does that has to do with present time? It seems like a sad try to humilate windows, but its just not working.
Bah, I saw it as Mac-guys’ point of view of Windows guys hoping to finally catch up.
@Isaac, what’s wrong with the free OS that can run on cheaper hardware? You know, the one with the little penguin and has free upgrades
That said, as a developer I’m hoping for more Windows 7 users… they won’t be able to use IE6 anymore. Which makes our lives better.
Very cute. I remember back when floppies were king. Tedium aside, I miss those days. Just one question, more rhetorical than anything, but why are PC people always shmoes in suits while Mac people always look like hipster losers? ‘Cause that PC stereotype is hardly true. *lol*
So, Me thinkies that the mac guys were poking fun at him cause he puts his OS installs on Floppies, not for Vista. (must have been small floppies too.) OS X install would be like 200 some, probably… Sorry, this was just kind of… well… not witty or humorous in anyway.
ah, dude.. this Mac vs Win isn’t funny anymore.. I still remember when some of my friends showoff their Mac to me. But in the end, they still a Win user.. that’s why Apple creates “BootCamp”
@Isaac: How is Win7 not as good as OSX SL? I’ve used both, and Win 7 blows it out of the water, especially for gamers and non-casual users. I guess OSX is still a bit more noob friendly, but Windows doesn’t take much time to learn, even for someone who has never touched a computer. Plus, Win 7 only cost more of us $30 in the U.S., which is a hell of a lot cheaper than a Mac operating system (which, when you calculate it out, based on the computer’s specs, usually ends up costing at least $500).

October 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm@Isaac: You obviously haven’t had a look at a Snow Leopard specs page. A “service pack” doesn’t add things like Grand Central Dispatch…

October 19, 2009 at 2:00 pmIsaac - please do not ever again compare win and mac os x. It doesn’t make sense. There are 2 different worlds. So far away from each other.
Isaac
October 19, 2009 at 2:00 pmSo true! Windows 7 is still not as good as Snow Leopard. And they make you pay MORE than £25 for a bug fix and speed upgrade? Get a Mac…

October 19, 2009 at 2:00 pmYeah, I agree with Van. And your comic character doesn’t look *exactly* like you, either.

October 19, 2009 at 2:00 pmI remember my first computer, it came with windows 3.1, and the labels of the first and second disk were swapped. Took me a while to figure it out.

October 28, 2009 at 2:00 pmIf Windows 7 comes with 142+ floppy disks, I guess Windows 8 will come with 347 tapes
just kidding!
I may like Windows 7, as 7 is the lucky number for me
