This is so true! I was thinking about this the other day, but a little differently…that they either pay attention to awesome quality content (like pictures demonstrating how to do something well), or very eye-catching content (like funny cats, or interesting ads).
Brad, you need to add og:image tags to these posts so when I like them on facebook my friends will see an appealing thumbnail rather than just a tiny twitter icon. #jusssayin
Hi,
agreed to the above graph. my point is what is called really great stuff? how to define it ? what are the characteristics of great stiff? can anyone pls help me?
People are more or less interested towards stuff that is either really good or really bad. In fact, the good stuff, the mediocre stuff and the bad stuff are completely areas of disinterest. By the way, I think most stuffs that fall in the three middle category are fighting their way to reach either the good side or the bad side. I was wondering where are we heading!

* Cats with captions
* Obscure video game references
* Graph jokes

October 2, 2011 at 4:32 amIt’s not true. It’s a fact!
There is a proverb in Oriya, which means, “If you build a temple, you will be popular. And if you poop on the road, you will be popular.”
