iPad Pro Reviews

What’s Good:

  • Lots of drawing apps
  • Software like Astropad can turn this into a full blown drawing tablet that con connect to your Mac (and eventually Windows)
  • For the cost of a low end Cintiq you get a full blown iPad
  • Portable with long battery life
  • Apple Pencil is very accurate, no other iPad stylus comes even close.

What’s Not:

  • The pencil comes separately and costs $100 (so does the keyboard)
  • The apps aren’t as fully featured as desktop apps but are getting better
  • It’s a companion device, not a replacement of the desktop yet

Specs

  • Size 9.7” or 12.9″
  • Resolution: 2048 x 1536 or 2732 x 2048
  • Pressure levels: No idea, but it’s pretty responsive
  • Battery life 5-6 hours
